Description
Located in Buenos Aires, Pinchicha is home to 35 children who have been placed there for various reasons such as; parents have limited or no financial resources to care for the child, physical or sexual abuse of the child, death of parent, or child was found homeless on the street. The goal of this home is to reintegrate these children back in to their family unit, if at all possible. If this is not a possibility, these children will be eligible for adoption. The children range in ages from 3 to 17 years. Many of these children have been living in this home for many years, and some are accompanied by their siblings who have also been removed from the family home.
Our international volunteers assist in all aspects of child care, and maintenance of the home. This could include; assisting in serving meals or snacks, bathing the children and assisting with school work. This project is a great place to make a difference!
