Description

Spanish at Locations|Costa Rica & Panama is an organization with five language schools in Costa Rica and Panama. Spanish classes, Adventures excursions and Free Voluntary positions are the specializations of this organization.

You can make your own combination of locations you want to visit or let us suggest. Travel to the different locations on your own or in the organized Travelling Classrooms, and continue your study with the same teaching method, so you won't lose time adjusting.

Every location has its own hostel and also offers the opportunity to stay with a local family.

The Spanish courses are based on the communicative approach, which means learn talking by talking. Teachers are native Spanish speakers and they work hard to create situations which are likely to promote communication.

The five language schools are located in Costa Rica in Turrialba (mountains-rivers) and Puerto Viejo (beach) and in Panama in Bocas del Toro (islands-beach), Boquete (mountains-rivers) and Panama City (City) in Panama.

Every school offers the same program, quality and typical Spanish at Locations atmosphere, but the surroundings make that you want to visit them all! In Costa Rica, Turrialba is the perfect place to learn Spanish since the people is very helpful and don't speak much English. The smoky volcano, the waterfalls and rivers makes it a perfect place for people that like to hike, horseback ride, rafting and camping at the Pacuare Rivercamp, located on the bank of the river, and observe local life around the farmer's market. Puerto Viejo, an idyllic town on the Caribbean Coast, is made for people that like to go to the beach, surf, hike in the national parks, stroll around town, have a refreshing drink, check out the local artisans and learn about the indigenous culture of the Bribri people. Right over the border in Panama, Bocasdel Toro is situated at the Caribbean coast and is a relaxed beach town with lots of islands to explore, as well as a vibrant nightlife. Surfing, diving, kayaking, hiking in the lush jungle are just a few of the options here. Five hours from Bocas, after a trip throught the highlands, you will get to Boquete. a small town in the Chiriqui province with its cool mountain climate. Ziplining in the canopy, river rafting, horseback riding to the hotsprings is what you'll do here. Panama City has an old, romantic part on the ocean and also a modern part. Nightlife, and there are also lots of options for daytrips outside of the city of which the San Blas Islands trip stands out.

At all schools you will find night time activities like cookery and salsa classes as well as latin-movie nights and make sure you don't forget to join the Friday night-drinks on the house-potlock barbecues!

Highlights

For students who want to travel, learn Spanish and experience the typical atmosphere of all three language schools, we offer the Traveling Classroom.
