Cairo Over-day trip from Taba by private Transportation

Enjoy a visit to the marvelous archaeological sites in Cairo - the modern capital of Egypt. You will have the opportunity to visit the great pyramids of Giza, the sphinx statue, the Egyptian museum, the citadel of Saladin and the famous khan el khalili bazaar; all this with the company of your private Egyptologist tour guide who will give you detailed explanation about these sites.

Your guide will come to pick you up from your hotel at 04.00; the journey takes about 5 hours drive. You will arrive Cairo to start your tour by visiting Giza pyramids where your guide will explain to you about each of them from the outside and you will have the opportunity of entering one of the pyramids, however, your guide is not permitted to escort you inside. After is a short drive to the panorama for a photo of the 3 pyramids where you can have the option of having an unforgettable camel ride. After which is a short drive to the sphinx statue (the guardian of the necropolis) and a visit to the valley temple where the mummification process was done on the king's body.

Your next destination will be towards the Egyptian museum (the 3rd biggest museum in the world) which contains more than 200,000 pieces of ancient Egyptian artifacts where you can see the breathtaking mummy room (extra ticket of 80 EGP) containing the mummies of some of the very famous pharaohs as well as the wonderful golden collection of king Tutankhamen. At the museum, your guide will explain to you about the most important highlights of the museum then will give you some free time to explore the museum by yourself.

Then finally, you will visit khan el khalili bazaar where you can have a walk in one of the most famous open air markets in the middle east, there you can learn the art of haggling , and enjoy all the wonderful Egyptian made souvenirs. At the end of the trip (around 17:30) you will head towards Hurghada and after arrival you will be transferred back to your hotel around 22:30.
