Description

A tour to visit the most important sites on the West Bank of Luxor as you visit the valleys of the kings and queens, the colossi of Memnon, and Hatchepsut temple.

Your tour will start around (08:00) as your guide will meet you at your hotel or cruise ship lobby, then you will be transferred to the West Bank of Luxor (the necropolis of ancient Thebes)

After a drive through the beautiful fields and the sands of the west bank, you will arrive at the colossi of Memnon. Your guide will explain to you about the colossi then you will take the car to the valley of the queens where your guide will give you an introduction about the valley before visiting 3 tombs, however, guides are not permitted to enter the tombs with you but they will explain the main details of each tomb you will visit. For the guests who have interest in visiting the tomb of queen Nefertary, it has special reservation formalities so please contact us at least a week before booking to give you all the details. Your next destination will be towards the Valley of the Kings. On the way, you will pass the 3 houses occupied by Howard Carter during his search for King Tutankhamen's tomb. After arriving there, your guide will give you an introduction about the valley at the visitors' center then you will take the taf taf (mini train) to the valley to visit 3 tombs however guides are not permitted to enter the tombs with you but they will explain the main details of each tomb you will visit, for the guests interested in visiting the tomb of king Tutankhamen an additional cost is payable direct.

Leaving the hot sands of the Valley of the Kings, you will continue for a visit of the Temple of Hatchepsut, one of the most striking monuments in Egypt. Your guide will introduce you to the history of the temple and the story of Queen Hatchepsut, the famous female ruler of Egypt who posed as a male to gain the throne. There is free time to further explore at leisure as you wander the large courtyards and admire the intricate hieroglyphic decorations...

At the end of the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel or cruise ship. Around (14:00)
